A Fine Fine start to my new life in the city........ I love my life!!!!!!!!!!!

Sundaze...

It's sunday and after our first few rounds of church services at st patrick's and planetshakers we finally decided to settle down at Cross Culture Church of Christ... where we feel most at home... a big asian community there... and it's in the heart of the city...

Just outside I spotted Esteler!! the Indo-food chain resturants there and I had my fave fried chicken... nasi ayam and comes with chicken soup too!! I'm starting to miss SG's food!!

and tea to kill the lazy afternoon....

We went to apartment viewing and found a really awesome place... Will update ya all another time... when i post more pics... and we were lazing around b4 our movie... we went to watch Golden Compass.... with Rachel, Jie Ying and her mom which we thot the storyline was way too short and the ending too abrupt which leave you hanging......... but nicole kidman is sooo pretty.....Love her!! Hope you all had a great weekend too!! :D

The Time When Boon Came to Town....

My dear buddy boon touched down in Mel friday night one of his flights..... it's always nice to see familiar faces... miss all the guys back home...... we're outside crown checking out the night scenery.... the lovely colours of blue... and city lights..

Then early Sat Morning Kel brought me to Queen Victoria Market... very much like our pasam malum back home in SG...

Spanish donuts.. they're like churros but we're too full from our morning sausage to stomach any.. but it's on a cute van..... next time perhaps...

it's also where we get our cheaper fresh produce in the City...

I was so excited!! bought fruits and vegetables to last me the week...... Cherries, mangoes, grapes, potatoes, kailan, baby kailan, golden mushrooms, brocoli.....

Finally met up with Swee for a long afternoon chat... Great to have friends in Mel!!

Boon's Hungry from sleeping in all day...... finally decided that filling his stomach was more important... he met up with moi for dinner... I brought him to Lygon Street aka Little Italy..

Traditional Italian pizza cooked in a wood-fire oven!

Breaded Chicken with melted cheese and sauce... this is so-so.. pizza better!!

and orangy pumpkin soup... not too bad...

And I need a ride like a princess.......... don't this makes you feel like you wanna be cinderella?! right in the heart of the city...... it'll be sooo romantic........ *dream*

we took a walk after dinner ans some a chocolate shop with chocolate santa and x'mas tress..... too cute to eat don't you think?

Life's pretty relax here... really starting to like it here... everyday is just a holiday for now til I get started on my work on the 14th Jan 2008... so must enjoy while I still can!! Hope you all having a great start to the new year!! :D
