Tassie Trip Day 5...Last Onee.....

The Bed in Breakfast during the day.. the house we were in!! Highly recommended!!

Look at the barrel of flowers...

The owner's house and look another swing!!
We were sad we had to leave.. our last day in Tassie... we made a short stop at Ross town... at the post office to send my folks a postcard.. it's a little old town full of history and very quiet.. barely any one around...
The olden days of how post boxes look like... now the post office is like a yard sale for tourists...

We were starving!! So lunch stop for some soup.. bread and the world famous scallop pie!!

We had some time on our hands soo I did a little bit of shopping at Hobart town.. and had a Great bargain with my Sports Girl white Bag which is now my fave bag to bring around!!

Our last meal.. at Hobart... we decide it had to be oysters just minutes away from the airport..

Look that is where they harvest the oysters daily.. soo you can imagine how fresh it really is!!

It's called Barilla Bay... they don't have fresh oysters every day on days when weather is bad.. they don't head out... so you might try your luck!!

This marks an end to my tassie trip!! I would be back another time.. and 5 day is really not enough!! Who wanna go with me for the next one?!?!?

Tassie Trip Day 4...

We enjoy viewing our cosy Christmas cottage one last time before heading off...

A swing in the garden... so surreal..... Up next down to Lauceston...

Look the town...

A stop to buy some home brewed beer...I have got strawberry flavoured beer!!

We've finally reach Cradle Mountain!! It's called that as there is a cradle dip in the middle...and look it's so cold it's snowing!! So I've got out my ski cap!!

We took the walk around the lake.. look at the rustic colours.. it's really pretty amazing..

With waterfalls as well... so calm.. so relaxing..

We did have to do a lot of walkting though...
The walkways are just hanging off the bottom of the mountain... so you're intouch with nature..
We also brought our own picnic and picked a nice spot to eat.. til we realised the birds were following us and looking at our food.. we chop chop eat and move on...

Look at the lake... I wish the weather was better and I could take a dip!!Oh gosh did you know the walk took like 3 hrs... I was sooo happy to finally reach!! Yay!!

We gave ourselves a great dinner treat..but got too hungry and didn't take pics of the rest but they're sooooo heavenly...The tired me kicking back when we arrive at our bed and breakfast just below cradle mountain!!
The beds!!
This is mine for the night!! soooo country.... and good to zzzzzzz

My Tassie Trip... Day 3

Off to make payment and return the keys.. to the sweet old lady.. she is the owner of the Bed and Breakfast... and this is where she stays...

She stays with her doggie... can't remember its name.. but it was sooo friendly... and keep coming over to let us pat...

Back on the road and stopping to smell the flowers... a whole field of them...

stop for our coffee break... Caffeine is soooo good!!

We stop along the way for some fresh... farm oysters....

From scallops... so juicy...

To FRESH OYSTERS!! I tell you.. wen guang and I are scarred for life... the oysters are soo soo delicious and fresh... and sweet... we can never eat another oyster without remember this experience... It's call "Freycinet Oyster and Marine Farm"... you need to go there!! Don't forget!!

Surp!!!!

This is one very satisfied customer!!

We have now arrive at Freycinet..
.

Our 1.5 hr hike up to Wine Glass Bay lookout...

Look at Wineglass Bay!!

Taking a break from all the walking...

A stone... shaped like a hanging hand....

and also Coles Bay lookout..

Wat a day out.... we were too tired for more pics at night........ so next one would be Day 4!!

My Tassie Trip... Day 2

Now on to Day 2... we have decided a change of plans and head up to Bruny Island instead of spending a day a Freycinet... and off we are to take the ferry over to Bruny Island..

The view from the ferry...

We decided to go on a 3 hr Eco Cruise as we were not familiar with the island and the cruise had been strongly recomended by our Chinese host at the bed and breakfast stay.. so off we go!

Then we're fitted with super big rain coats to brave the cold and also from getting wet from the sea...

A bad choice to go out to sea as it was really choppy!! I had to stay for half of the journey cos I was just too seasick sitting down.. the boat was super rocky.. I don't normally get seasick but this just wasn't for me... it's up and down and up and down...

The highlights of the ride... the blowhole.. look at the waves!!

The other scenic views... it was amazing.. I must say... Just wished I wasn't so sick that I could have enjoyed myself...

Off to have some lunch.. I so need some food to warm me up.. we found a cosy cafe nearby..

Hot chocolate pls!!

We saw a rainbow... it can only get better from here onwards...

Yay!! Jump for the world!!!

We had to go to one lookout... this is the narrow upward walk up.. which starts here...

Walk ways

Take a break while I'm up there... and take in the breeze...

and view... Look at it... wish you were here...

Wat a tiring day... so we decided to have dinner in and rest early.. and found out what an awesome cosy place it is.. it's called the Christmas Cottage from one of the Bed and Breakfast stay in the little town of Richmond... I strongly recommend this place to anyone!!

With a cool fireplace....

A family place with a little kitchen and table for dining...

The bedrooms...

An early night... ZZzz... and wake up to a nice breakfast in the little christmas cottage...
